2 Minute Microwave Brownie

I am so excited to let you all know that it's been a year since I started this blog. Thanks to all of you for your awesome support and encouragement. It has been a great year of blogging with wonderful recipes, photos and learning.

As part of our celebrations, I have a surprise video for all of you. Thanks to my wonderful Son for helping me prepare this video.

Here we go.....

A recap of the ingredients and method for easy reference:

Ingredients :

  • 3 tablespoons maida (all purpose flour)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Cocoa Powder
  • 3 tablespoons flavourless oil (sunflower oil)
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp chocolate chips (optional)

Method :

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a microwave safe bowl/cup/mug.

Add the oil, water, vanilla extract and chocolate chips to this mixture.

Mix thoroughly till you get a idli batter consistency. Add a little extra water if required.

Microwave for 1 minute and 10 seconds. (This may take more or less time depending on your microwave settings).

Tip : Make sure you don't overcook because you will end up having a dry brownie.
