This "Inji Podi" is not your regular ginger powder. It has ginger soaked in lemon juice with pepper, cumin and coriander seeds. It is a recipe that has been passed on for generations in our family and is very effective for minor digestion problems. Do make this and store it for all the minor tummy issues 😊😊.
Ingredients :
1/4 kg ginger
10 lemons
2 tbsp coriander seeds
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp pepper
salt to taste
Method:
Grate ginger.
Add lemon juice on the grated ginger till it is fully covered.
Add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, pepper and salt to the ginger.
Let it soak for 2 days or till the ginger has completely absorbed all the lemon juice.
Dry in sun for a couple of days.
Grind to a fine powder.
