How to make tomato puree

This method explains how to make tomato puree in a pressure cooker.

1. Cook 5-6 tomatoes in the pressure cooker for 3 whistles without water as shown in the picture below (water is added only in the lower container).

2. Wait for the cooked tomatoes to cool down.

3. Grind the tomatoes in a mixer to a fine puree and sieve as given below.

4. Your tomato puree is ready to be used in recipes.
